Connect Groups are the heartbeat of church life! Meeting in the homes of our church families they provide fellowship, support, care and an opportunity to live life connected.

Discovery

This free course explains the foundations of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. It is a simple, positive and powerful course for anyone new to Cathedral of Praise.

Praise Kids

Praise Kids is the Sunday morning Children’s Ministry of the Cathedral of Praise. Using stories of the Bible, we aim to partner with parents to teach God’s truth to our children in a creative, fun and safe environment.

We provide age-appropriate teaching for:
Crèche – 1 (walking) to 3 yrs
Building Blocks – 3 (toilet trained) to 5 yrs
Adventure Kids & Shakers – Grades 1 to 6

Red Generation Youth

RedGen is the Youth Ministry of the Cathedral of Praise, our high schoolers hang out every Friday night. Whether we’re being inspired by the Word of God or engaging in a little friendly competition, we are passionate about our God and enthusiastic about life. Plus, during the preaching at our Sunday morning services, our middle schoolers, breakaway for SURGE to engage with the Word of God with their peers.

Young Adults

At Cathedral of Praise Young Adults our mission is to create a place where our Graduates to 30s will find quality friendships, make lasting memories and be challenged to grow in their faith. Mums

Our Mums meet every Wednesday morning of the school term, giving Mum’s with children under school age an opportunity to stop and catch up over a coffee, in an atmosphere that is warm and caring, while their little one’s play.

GoldGen

If you are over 60 and enjoy mixing with people you will love GoldGen at Cathedral of Praise. We are a caring group who meet fortnightly to enjoy good food, great company, and a delightful program throughout the year, including regular outings.

COP Women

Cathedral of Praise Women are vibrant, caring, fun-loving women of all ages who have a passion for God's house and a love for the women of our community.

Throughout the year we host Girls’ Night Out (GNO). We love to provide a place where women of all ages can come to be ministered to body, soul and spirit.

Each year, we also host Beautiful Women’s Conference. Beautiful is a generational conference where women from our church, community and district can come and be encouraged and inspired by the Word of God.

Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s events are an opportunity for guys, 16 and over, to build mateship, encourage each other, and be inspired to be His light in our world. Of course, this all happens around good food.

Missions

We believe we have a responsibility to tell the world the Good News of Jesus. Therefore, it is our privilege to partner with the following Missions ministries.

AIMS (Accelerating International Missions Strategies)

Joshua and Bevin Bold
AIMS is a non-profit organization on mission to get the message of Jesus to those who have no access. The purpose is to see Unreached Peoples receive a gospel presentation in their language, in a culturally relevant manner with new churches established, and the Kingdom of God advanced.

Helping Hands, Jaipur, India

Bob and Janine Mann
Changing the lives of India’s socially disadvantaged in the Kathputli Slum, through programs of education, health and hygiene, skills training, financial management, counselling and spiritual guidance.

Rivers of Living Water, Israel

Seva and Irene Friedman
Missionaries to Northern Israel, this Ukrainian couple have a network of churches. Their focus is evangelism and humanitarian aid.

Jerusalem Assembly, Jerusalem, Israel

Alina Theodor
Established in May 1991, Jerusalem Assembly began as a home Bible study and has grown into a church community of more than 200 believers. A Bible believing Messianic congregation of both Jews and Gentiles, they are committed to fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism. They graciously proclaim to the Jewish people their need for personal salvation through Jesus the Messiah, while ministering to children, holocaust survivors and helping the poor.

Healing Jesus Campaign, Africa

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills
The Healing Jesus Campaign is an international outreach aimed at reaching villages, towns and cities across Africa. Using a fleet of buses and trucks they travel thousands of kilometres each year to share the love of Jesus through massive outdoor crusades, including Pastor’s conferences, free distribution of books, free medical outreaches and visits to orphanages and prisons.

Serving in the House

At the Cathedral of Praise we love to serve! God designed us not just to take from life but to add to it. Therefore, along with all our vibrant departments, there are many opportunities to make a difference. We have talented and creative Worship, production and media teams. Our Sunday services are full of opportunities to be involved, from making sure communion is ready for the morning service to being a barista at the Café. We also love to bless others on a practical level, whether it be vacuuming the auditorium or cooking a meal. Then there is always the opportunity to be part of our annual Christmas Musical, which is a highlight of every year. If you are interested in getting involved in church life contact us.
